Single Fluidised Bed Gasifier

The single Fluidised Bed Gasifier has only one bed. In this bed, the feedstock and gasifying agents are added in order to evacuate the produced gas and char. On one hand, this gasification reactor has many advantages that include lower cost than the dual or multi-fludised beds, the produced gas is ready for immediate utilization, and it doesn’t require expensive and regular maintenance. On the other hand, this system has some disadvantages such as the inorganic substances in the feedstock cannot be separated, lower heating value of the produced gas than the gas produced by the dual gasification reactor and non-uniform temperature distribution.
